Hyonjee Joo

Hyonjee is a software engineer at Two Sigma building reliable platforms and scalable analytics solutions for quantitative analysts. She studied Computer Science and Psychology at Columbia University and has built her career in finance bringing distributed compute capabilities to researchers. With a background in systems engineering, statistics, and machine learning, Hyonjee enjoys solving data science and time series problems at scale using open source technologies. She also enjoys contributing to open source projects like Flint, Koalas, and Ibis. In her spare time, Hyonjee likes to travel, hike mountains, and run.
