Raffaele Rainone

Raff is a Data Scientist and Python developer at Flight Data Services. His work is focused on developing machine learning algorithms and predictive models using flight data in order to increase flight safety.

In his previous role, he was an RF/DSP Developer for a location analytics company where he contributed to develop and improve a location algorithm based on a novel probabilistic approach and on statistical tools such as Markov chain Monte Carlo methods.

In 2014, he was awarded with a PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Southampton, before of that he got a MSc and BSc in Mathematics in Italy and in The Netherlands.
