Tim Orme

Tim Orme is a software engineer focused on building performant tools and pipelines for biotech. He has worked as the tech lead on the Genomic Algorithms team at Ancestry, building the production pipelines that analyze raw genomic data. Currently, he works as a bioinformatics engineer in Ancestry's DNA Science team, where he spends his time building and optimizing tools for research. Prior to his time at Ancestry, he worked for Illumina and the Genetics Department at the Harvard School of Medicine.
