Ian Rose is as postdoctoral fellow at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science, where he works on the Jupyter Project. He was previously a geologist, where his research focused on the physics of the deep Earth. He lives in LA, where he can be found wandering around the city on foot and by Metro.
