Join us for a two day, interactive conference connecting data scientists, researchers and AI enthusiasts worldwide.
PyData Global aims to provide meaningful experiences to the open-source scientific community. This year's initiative seeks to provide participants with practical knowledge on how to approach the current AI and data job market. We are seeking participants, speakers, and mentors for 1:1 or group mentoring, prerecorded VoD (video on demand) sessions, BoF (birds-of-a-feather) sessions, and more!

Important Information
In the fourth edition of the iconic PyData Impact Scholarship Program, we aim to connect aspiring data scientists, engineers, and researchers with seasoned professionals. Through mentorship, inspiration (VoD), and discussions (BoF), participants will receive valuable support to help shape and advance their careers.
Format
Using our experience from the previous edition, we are focussing on providing interactive learning and networking experiences mixed with individual passed content. The whole event will be hosted on the AirMeet platform.
This year’s format includes:
1:1 Mentoring: Participants can schedule personalized sessions with mentors via AirMeet.
Birds of a Feather (BoF) Sessions: Four sessions across different time zones. Join a live discussion and share subgroup ideas via chat.
Pre-recorded Video (18 min, TED-style): Available as Video on Demand (VoD) with no live interaction.
DISCOVER Cookbook Translation Sprint - Join us for a one-day online collaboration to translate the Cookbook from English into Portuguese, Hindi, Cantonese, Arabic, and any other language of your choice!
We’ll be using Transifex, a user-friendly platform - no coding or GitHub experience required. All contributions will be shared under an open-source license, ensuring that everyone can benefit from your contribution.

Is the Impact Scholarship Program 2025 free?
Yes, the program is completely free to participate in.
Will I receive a certificate for participating?
No, certificates will not be provided this year. The program is focused on creating a personalized learning experience for each participant.
Do I need prior experience in Data Science or AI?
No prior experience is required! While it's helpful, the program is beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels.
Is there a selection process for participants this year?
No, all applications are accepted. We encourage everyone to apply! However, mentor and speaker submissions will be reviewed and selected by November 21st.
Is the Impact Scholarship Program 2025 part of PyData Global?
Yes, it’s hosted on the same platform as PyData Global.
