PyData Meetup Organisers event is a social gathering for existing, new and upcoming meet-up organisers. Come together for a fun chat to share your past experiences, learnings and make new friends. Since this is a social event everyone is encouraged to bring a drink which is well known in their country and virtually share them with everyone else.

• Intros by organizers around the world
• How long have you been running the meet-up group and how many meet-ups you’ve had so far?
• What difficulties and challenges you faced when you started?
• How to get someone to sponsor your meet-up? Ex: Meet-up space, food & drinks, speakers etc.
• Have you ever got someone to contribute/donate to NumFOCUS via meet-up?
• Good practices on how to make companies/organisations aware of NumFOCUS and it’s work
• How COVID-19 pandemic has changed the dynamics and engagement of the meet-up?
• What was the most interesting meet-up you’ve held?

Obviously these aren’t the only points we’d be discussing and the agenda is not restricted to above points.We’ll see where the discussion will head towards and make the best out of it.
