Mandi Traud

Amanda Traud is Senior Data Scientist at Cybraics, Inc, has worked as a Data Scientist in DC for two years. She uses graph theory to find anomalies in cyber data. She is also co-founder of the meetup group, Women Data Scientists DC. Women Data Scientists DC has now been active for a year, and has over 1000 members. She is also a board member of Data Community DC, due to WDSDC joining the Data Community DC umbrella. And last but certainly not least, she helped organize the PyData DC conference by chairing the diversity committee and being a member of both the programming and marketing committees. She holds a MS and BS in Applied Mathematics from UNC and a PhD in Biomathematics from NC State.
