Federico Albanese is a member of the Institute of Calculus and PhD. student at the University of Buenos Aires (U.B.A.), under the supervision of Leandro Lombardi, PhD. and Estevan Feuerstein, PhD. His research interests are graph based machine learning models, natural language processing and regularization. Recently, he got granted a National Scientific and Technical Research Council scholarship to study and develop new machine learning algorithms which efficiently uses the information of a graph, its node and its neighbors, in order to make better predictions. In addition, this new semi supervised methodology is validated using graphs of biological (such as protein folding problem) and social origin.
