The Python data community in Berlin is growing! A new website, http://pydata.berlin/, has been created to help promote the events of the PyData Berlin meetup, act as a local extension of pydata.org and to accelerate community building. Discussions on adding additional features and ideas will be held at a future meetup.
A twitter handle has also been created @pydataberlin
Thanks to Frank Kaufer from bakdata for his efforts in getting these up and running!
We are proud to announce that Diversity Scholarships are available for PyData Berlin. These awards are made possible through NumFOCUS and our Diversity Scholarship sponsor, the Python Software Foundation.
We are committed to fostering a diverse community and culture that respects and values our attendees differences. We strongly encourage any women or members of other under-represented groups to apply. Please send us a short email, including your name and reason for wanting to attend PyData Berlin, to admin@pydata.org by 30 June. All applicants will be notified by 2 July.
We are thrilled to be holding the second PyData event in Europe and the first in Berlin! We're looking forward to hopping across the big pond in July.
Help us spread the word through social media or hang a PyData poster in the common area of your company or university.
