Dr. James A. Bednar (Manager, Technical Services at Anaconda, Inc.) is the leader of the HoloViz project, which coordinates the open-source Python data-visualization tools Panel, hvPlot, Datashader, Param, Colorcet, and GeoViews. Dr. Bednar previously had a 10-year career of research and teaching at the University of Edinburgh (UK), where he directed the Doctoral Training Centre for Neuroinformatics.
