Matthijs

Matthijs van der Kroon received his M.Sc in Software Engineering at the Technical University of Valencia (2013). At that time he worked as a researcher at ProS institute on developing a Conceptual Model of the Human Genome. After graduation, he worked with the Challenger of Record in the 34th America's Cup team Artemis Racing in San Francisco as a Data Engineer, dealing with real-time sensor data about yacht integrity and performance. Later, Matthijs took the position of Lead Data Engineer / Senior Data Scientist at RTL Nederland designing the high-performance streaming data platform and recommender algorithms for RTL Nieuws and Videoland. Throughout these endeavors, data and making impact from that data has been central and as the CTO and co-founder at Primed.io Matthijs now aims to help organisations to productionalise Machine Learning and AI in order to make real impact.
