Jan van der Vegt is a data scientist working at KLM. After a few years of a different career as professional Magic: the Gathering streamer, he finished his masters in Business Analytics. Now he is responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models for the Operations domain within KLM. Different processes within KLM can make better decisions using these predictions revolving around luggage, arrivals and delays at the day of operation.
