Brian E. Granger

Brian is an Associate Professor of Physics and Data Science at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is a leader of the IPython project and co-founder/leader of Project Jupyter. He has founded a number of other open-source projects, such as traitlets, ipyleaflet and PyZQM. His latest creation is Altair, a declarative statistical visualization library for Python. He is a board member of the NumFOCUS Foundation and a faculty fellow of the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
