WHAT TO EXPECT

The event will be in-person at the David InterContinental Tel Aviv on November 4 2024.

PyData Tel Aviv 2023 (Postponed to November 4, 2024) is a 1-day event for the international community of data scientists, data engineers, and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other.

During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to attend live keynote sessions and talks, lightning talks, and get to know fellow members of the PyData Community.

*January 1, 2024 Note: Due to the current circumstances in Israel, we have decided to postpone the conference. The new date for PyData Tel Aviv is set for November 4th, 2024. We understand that this may impact your availability, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Given the change in schedule, we want to offer you the flexibility to make decisions regarding your ticket. You have two options:

-Maintain Your Ticket: If you are still able to join us on the new date, there is no action required. Your ticket will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled event on November 4th, 2024.

-Request a Refund: If you find it impossible to attend, we understand completely. Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Refund Request: PyData Tel Aviv" and include your reference number, and we will process your request as quickly as possible.

Keynote Speakers

Wes McKinney

Creator of Pandas | CTO of Voltron Data

Wes McKinney is an open source software developer focusing on analytical computing. He created the Python pandas project and is a co-creator of Apache Arrow, his current focus. He authored two editions of the reference book, Python for Data Analysis. Wes is a member of The Apache Software Foundation and also a PMC member for Apache Parquet. He is now the CTO of Voltron Data, a new startup working on accelerated computing technologies powered by Apache Arrow.

Ines Montani

Creator of Spacy | CEO of Explosion

Ines Montani is a developer specializing in tools for AI and NLP technology. She’s the co-founder and CEO of Explosion and a core developer of spaCy, a popular open-source library for Natural Language Processing in Python, and Prodigy, a modern annotation tool for creating training data for machine learning models.
