These guidelines are subject to change based upon health and safety recommendations at the time of the event. We are asking that every adult attendee provide proof of\u00a0<i data-stringify-type=\"italic\">either\u00a0<\/i>1) up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or 2) a negative COVID test taken the day before your attendance at PyData NYC. A picture of the test will suffice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">You are considered up to date on COVID-19 vaccination if:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">You are fully vaccinated and have received a booster shot, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">You received the last dose of a two-dose vaccine less than 5 months ago, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">You received a single-dose vaccine (like J&amp;J) less than two months ago.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"preFade fadeIn\"><strong>MASKS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Based on recent data available from the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/prevent-getting-sick\/masks.html\">CDC<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/science\/science-briefs\/masking-science-sars-cov2.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fmore%2Fmasking-science-sars-cov2.html\"><strong>,<\/strong><\/a><strong> face coverings will be required for everyone inside the conference venue at PyData NYC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Wearing a well-fitting mask in indoor public spaces, regardless of your vaccination status, can help protect you and everyone close to you.<\/p>\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\">Exceptions are:<\/div>\n<ul class=\"p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet\" data-stringify-type=\"unordered-list\" data-indent=\"0\" data-border=\"0\">\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Outdoor spaces<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Indoors while consuming food and while socially distanced from other participants<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">While necessary for communicating with someone who is hearing impaired when the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Speakers while presenting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"preFade fadeIn\"><strong>ATTENDANCE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Individuals should not attend the event if they are COVID-positive, are exhibiting COVID symptoms (as defined by the CDC), or have been exposed, within 10 days prior to the event, to someone who was COVID-positive or showed COVID symptoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">If you are feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19, prior to the start of the conference, or on any day of the conference, please contact us, and we will refund your ticket.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proof of Vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result is required to enter the conference.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"preFade fadeIn\"><strong>MONITORING WILL CONTINUE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">We\u2019ve monitored COVID-related news and data since the pandemic started, and we will continue to do so moving forward. We continue to follow all CDC guidelines in addition to those of the local government and venue.
