Karim Chine

Karim Chine is a software architect and entrepreneur based in London. Karim graduated from the French "Ecole Polytechnique" (1999) and "Telecom ParisTech" (2001). Since 2001, he held positions at Imperial College London, EBI, IBM and Schlumberger. Karim regularily collaborates with the European Commission as an independent expert for the research e-infrastructure and for the future and emerging technologies programs. He has been an evaluator and a reviewer of many of EU’s flagship projects related to grids, desktop grids, scientific clouds and science gateways. Karim is the author and designer of ElasticR.
