Executives at PyData<\/h2>\n

Executives at PyData is a facilitated discussion session for leaders on the challenges around designing and delivering successful projects, organizational communication, product management and design, hiring, and team growth.
\nThis 2-hour discussion session will answer a set of critical questions in the first hour and then we\u2019ll switch to an open discussion with invited guest\u00a0Douglas Squirrel<\/a>\u00a0for our second hour.
\nThe recording of the sessions will be public (just like all the conference videos).
\nA write-up of the key points, tools and processes will be made available after the conference to all attendees, this will be a valuable take-from from the conference for all attendees.<\/p>\n

PyData global is hosting multiple sprints for open source projects. Each sprint will have a project maintainer leading the sprint to help guide the contributors throughout the session. Learn more at https:\/\/pydata.org\/global2022\/sprints\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What are Sprints?<\/h4>\n

Development sprints offer an opportunity to enhance and contribute to open source projects in a focused session with the project maintainers. It is a fun exercise that helps open source projects to improve with the help of the open source community.<\/p>\n

Who can participate?<\/h4>\n

ALL experience levels are welcome to participate. Contribution guides and environment setup instructions are provided with each sprint.<\/p>\n

Sprints Schedule<\/h4>\n

The duration of each sprint is 4 hours.<\/p>\n

Communication Channels<\/h4>\n

Discord
\n<\/strong>Every sprint will have its own channel on discord. Contributors should enroll in those discord channels to receive the list of issues to work on and have a space to discuss their progress with the maintainers.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zoom
\n<\/strong>During the sprint, there will be a dedicated zoom call for that sprint which will be used for sprint introduction. Participants will be divided into breakout rooms where a maintainer will come over to support attendees when needed.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before the Sprint
\n<\/strong>It is crucial to read the documentation and environment set up instructions to have a productive sprint. If you\u2019re facing any issues in setting up your environment, please use slack to ask for support in setting up the environment before the sprint begins.<\/p>\n
