Naomi Ceder earned a Ph.D in Classics several decades ago, but switched from ancient human languages to computer languages sometime in the last century. Since 2001, she has been learning, teaching, writing about, and using Python. An elected fellow of the Python Software Foundation, Naomi is the immediate past chair of its board of directors. She also speaks internationally about the Python community, and on inclusion and diversity in technology in general. By day she leads a team of Python programmers for Dick Blick Art Materials, and in her spare time she enjoys sketching, knitting, and deep philosophical conversations with her dog.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1617310084578{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row opacity_bg_pattern=”0.1″][vc_column width=”2/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1617310084578{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

David Beazley (@dabeaz) is the author of the Python Cookbook (O’Reilly), the Python Essential Reference (Pearson), and the recently published Python Distilled (Pearson). Having used Python for more than 25 years, he first got started by using it to control physics software at Los Alamos National Laboratory–ultimately leading to the first port of Python to a supercomputer. He is currently an independent researcher and educator who teaches advanced computer science courses (https://www.dabeaz.com/courses.html).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text el_id=”DavidBeazley”]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes” opacity_bg_pattern=”0.1″][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1617310084578{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes” opacity_bg_pattern=”0.1″][vc_column width=”1/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1617310084578{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text el_id=”TravisOliphant”]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][vc_column_text]

Travis is a well-known leader in the Python Data community having authored or led the creation of industry cornerstones such as NumPy, SciPy, Numba, Conda, XND, NumFOCUS, and PyData.
