The purpose of NumFOCUS is to promote the use of accessible and reproducible computing in science and technology. We work to support and promote the ongoing research and development of Python open-source computing tools through educational, community and public channels. The funds donated to NumFOCUS benefit our educational and organizational grants, as well as The John Hunter Technical Fellowship. NumFOCUS operates as a 501(c)(3) public charity; created exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes.
