Holden Karau

Holden Karau is a software development engineer and is active in a number of open source projects. She is the author of the first Spark book and co-author of the new Learning Spark book. She has worked on a variety of distributed systems, search and classification problems at Databricks, Google, Foursquare, and Amazon. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors of Mathematics in Computer Science.
