Francois Scharffe

François is co-founder and Knowledge Engineer at 3Top. He formalizes categories into machine readable structures and builds the knowledge base powering 3Top. François is also an associate professor at the Université Montpellier 2 in France where he started the Open Data Research Group. He was the founder and principal investigator of the Datalift project, creating one of the first implementations of a linked-data platform. François' area of expertise is centered on semantic technologies and particularly on the integration of various data and metadata sources.
