Josh Levy-Kramer

Josh graduated from Bristol University with a physics masters in 2013. He joined Humby & Dunn, a data analysis consultancy, working with companies such as Purple Seven, who collect two thirds of ticketing data for theatres, conducting market analysis to help theatres improve their commercial performance.

Currently, Josh works solely with Starcount as a Data Scientist on social media data, developing insight and techniques to help brands and stars connect with their audience. In particular he has developed a proprietary method for evaluating the importance of social media content; and engineered machine learning algorithms to infer characteristics of celebrities and the people who follow them.

Recently, Josh gave a talk at the GRADnet summer school hosted by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), educating the next generation of Data Scientists.
